LEADERSHIP DELIVERING RESULTS FOR OUR COMMUNITY
As your Mayor, I have worked diligently to ensure taxpayer money is spent efficiently and that it is in the best interest of all residents. For the past two years, I have been instrumental in passing a balanced budget and I am proud to say that this year's budget was passed with a surplus, demonstrating the CIty's financial stability.
I have worked to ensure that our entire police staff is trained and educated on the use of force and de-escalation, and I have secured funding to update our emergency (911) phone system to reduce response times.
One of my top priorities has been improving our infrastructure; that is why I have secured additional funding to increase our "Paving the Way" project that has repaved and renewed many of the roads in our city. Additionally, I continue to work with staff to identify 5 years of infrastructure improvement projects such as sidewalk repair, curbs, traffic mitigation, and road improvements.
